ELEGY OF MADNESS belong to the damned good female fronted metal bands. Somewhere between old Nightwish, Xandria and Epica they play some really catchy symphonic metal tunes like "Insanity" Hybrid Love", "Crawling" or "Legion". The songs are not overloaded and well balanced between heaviness and soulful moments, The vocals cover the whole spectrum between normal clean singing and more operatic pathos and they are indeed first class. Additional rough male vocals add dynamic from time to time. H.L.

Nice, extremely catchy symphonic metal album with very good rhythm-work, beautiful singing and well-thought-out orchestral and choir pieces to accompany it. Definitely worth to give a listen. tobiwest

What a fantastic album! Chiara's versatility is incredible, and the rest of the band is super talented too. The songwriting is excellent. One of my favourite albums in recent years, and their subsequent albums are superb as well. One of the most underrated bands around, they deserve a lot more attention. yash_d
